To prevail or to fail choose wisely

Low key aware of actions changing, while suffocating in silence.
                                             My soul is fading.
Freedom in sight but shackled by guilt.
If admission of mistakes will release the truth from imprisonment by shame then why continue to hide what is already known?
An eye for an eye to level the playing field is understood, but to claim false innocence will destroy the once united.
Courageously take accountability to save integrity and gain a new respect for salvation, or deny actions chosen.
Don’t look outward in order to place one’s blame if deciding the latter.

Instead point fingers while looking into the mirror.

I’ve been writing poetry on and off for the last 17 years, it’s a way for me to escape the reality that I live at that moment in time, while also locking it onto paper in physical form. So that my mind is no longer burdened with the mostly negative emotions that inspire and create them. more…

What a beautifully written poem that describes one’s frailty and one’s strengths, one’s innocence and one’s guilt, one’s awareness of our multidimensional selves; and the innate courage to place everything in balance for the purpose of maintaining one’s integrity. A mature outlook for a poet still in the bloom of life.

The silver of the screen can cause the illusion of the nail 'in need' of shine and weather the surface of the glass reflects an honest tale, it is up to you to show what color of brow you raise and either accept or dissaprove the tone in which thon familiar expects heirs present, 'niche` comedy spirit. It will grow if you stare, into thine starry ways.

At times, to have breathing space to even point a finger at someone while the other three are pointing at you, you need to point fingers and apportion blame to the best of your knowledge. Enlightening work.
