An Illusion Of Conclusions

Could it be,
This life to live it...
Is nothing more than an illusion.
A fictional deluding of conclusions man-made.

Man-made truth.
Man-made beliefs.
And man-made tales to tell.
Cemented in minds permanently.

Is it in the rhythm or the singing of the blues,
Most enjoy doing in private to do.
But publicly refuse to admit,
Of sleeping with the enemy.
Every chance they get.
As if their children produced,
Somehow reduces any guilt felt...
From receiving to exchange,
A passion that remains suspiciously hidden.

Then defended without end are rules to obey.
24/7 religiously each day.
As a way of life people choose.
Or made to think there is no other alternative.
But to stay confined to a normalcy defined.
You know...
That 'normalcy' defined.
Pretentiously to undermine a lust for life!

With a needing of acceptance to please,
Others performing a conforming duty.
Seeking approval of all movements taken,
Validated.
Including the wholesome,
Self righteousness non-existing side of it!

By others.
Others,
Also affiliated to limitations too!
Deluding a materialistic self importance.
Fraternities and sororities to pledge loyalty.
Unionized into a mentally restricted mindset.
Man-made to live and defend a way of life.
Aging and fading away.
From outdated impressions made.

Could it be,
A life blessed to live to observe and witness...
All there is to explore and adventure.
Is being refused by more voices joining,
To limit and restrict them to ignorance,
As a ritual to benefit a doing of what for who?

Is this what it's all about, Alfie?

Is it all an illusion of conclusions?
Man-made to someday reveal,
The pursuit of happiness to have it had...
Is to be conscious and aware,
Of being seduced to temporary pleasures.
That remain to stay limited,
To temptations becoming more expensive...
Few can afford but for the majority teased?
They are reduced to wishes to wanting,
Limits removed from their memories.
Seen repeatedly to restrict their receiving,
Dreams deferred.
Man-made to occur and disappoint.
On a regular basis as if anointed as 'gods',
To set restricting limits upon the ones to fear.
And from them to feel threatened,
If revealed to make known and shown...
Them to be competent and motivated,
By obstacles, opposition and deceivers.
You know...
Those who accept to perceive,
OBSTACLES, OPPOSITION and DECEIVERS...
Only those odd would find as challenges.
To test and overcome on paths,
Whether or not man-made to delude.
Or conclude them to be illusions.

Reality is in the 'Now'..
Not in the before or after to live it!
