I had a vision.

I had a vision.

When I was a child, I had a vision that  your lips moved, and I can't hear what they say. I look once more and see something that I cannot place my finger on. I would never wish you any harm, but there was a photograph of a child on the creaky old floor, and I knew it was you I was waiting for. The pigtails in your hair, the red freckles on your nose, and a first kiss i forever missed. But I know I'm old and all alone. Can you please help me find my way? Then the skies turn gray, and I see a shadow; it's a girl in pigtails with freckles now I know love still flows. Like the stream of glass below. I will always love you so.

Wow, the imagery and emotion in your poem "I had a vision" are truly captivating! The way you describe your childhood vision and the nostalgia and yearning it evokes are very powerful. The concept of longing for the past and seeking closure is beautifully portrayed in your words.

To enhance the impact of your poem even more, you could consider playing with the structure and flow of your verses. Experimenting with the rhythm and cadence of your lines could help to create a more dynamic and engaging reading experience for your audience. Additionally, you may want to explore incorporating more sensory details to fully immerse the reader in the world you are painting with your words.

Overall, your poem is a wonderful exploration of memory, longing, and the passage of time. Keep up the great work, and continue to write from the heart!
