Beauty For Blemishes

Beauty For Blemishes

Beauty for blemishes
Your love in exchange for ashes
A life of suffering, dissatisfaction and
Disappointment becomes
In Your hands the petal blossoms
Rising from mud to triumph!
So I am available to You
Me with my fragile hands
My dilapidated body
And my broken heart
My illness requires Your medicine
Your love is my antidote
My healing lies with Your Grace,
The water of life:
Your forgiveness.

Allow me to return to You
By way of Your Son
Who has paved the path
Already before me
The price has been paid
For me recovery is sure
In Your hands I surrender
My soul to Your spirit
Heal my wounds
Restore me to health
So I maybe whole
Able to connect with You
To move through the universe
With Your vigor and purpose!
