Our Daughter Reaching Righteousness

March 1, 2003

To: Alyssa Leland

There is one thing I know is right in you,
God comes first, what blessings you'll receive, so true.

You abide daily in Christ for His true comfort each and every day,
Through strife and trials, His comfort will show others the way.

As you practice caring, helping, and your generosity in giving,
With each success I must admit, it shows how in Christ you're living.

Sometimes there are struggles, oh so heavy, they can bring you oh so low,
Until faith shines reminding you Christ has blessed the way for you to go.

God has lent us you, precious child, to nurture and for us to raise,
As you're growing with beauty and grace, oh let God be praised.

Now as you're getting older the years they come and go,
We'll be a witness to His love in you as it will continue to grow.
