Morbid Dream

Had a morbid dream last night
Was sitting in my coffin upright
Facing my mourner's shocked with fright
Smiling at everyone in my sight

Silence is normal at every funeral
Attendees are usually people that cared
Awake at your wake is unusual
You'd understand why everyone's scared

First time had a captured audience
Had to wait until I died
Started reciting poetry what perfect chance
Morbid dream had nothing to hide
