THINK
Through the LORD and to the LORD
And for the LORD
The wonders of his love will never cease.
And when we do what he commands
Our souls will find true peace.
The way we prove we love him is to do what he commands.
To love and care for others like our brothers is his plan.
I had a thought or so I thought; at least I think I did.
I had a hard time getting out to be with other kids.
The neighborhood is violent and all the folks there hate me.
Before I see their faces, I can hear how they berate me.
They take the words I give them and they cast them to the ground.
They let me know with angry chants they don’t want me around.
They only build the temple proving they don’t understand.
God does not dwell in houses but dwells in the heart of man.
