ODE TO TEMISAN
In humble silence he sat in the hall
Like one not known by anyone at all
We all walked past him in the hall
Until he was introduced to us in the hall
Then we knew he was the master of us all
Humility is truly a divine call
Answered only by those ready to stand tall
Like mount Zion that can never fall
Like the Iroko in Sunshine and Rainfall
Temisan among his peers stands tall
A Microcosm of broadcast journalism; lover of people and football
Temisan the great! May you rise and never fall
About this poem
We were at a Media Workshop and we were given an impromptu task to write briefly about our instructor Mr TEMISAN ETIETSOLA. We didn't have the luxury of time but while others wrote short articles or a few sentences, I decided to write a poem for him. The event was a 3-Day Workshop on TELEVISION PROGRAM DESIGN which held from the 3rd to 5th December 2024 at Wetland Hotel, Warri, Delta State, Nigeria.
