Night terrors

The immense pain as a look in the mirror to see him so unhappy, eyes hollow like a corpse, The silence depressed me. It wasn't the silence of silence, but my own…
My brain full of pain as if flaming arrows burned my eyes, I screamed loud, loud enough to break glass, but it was in the void of my mind, which broke me…. I am broken too lost to be helped or learn love… the alcohol and drugs I use for distraction… I don’t want death… for the pain I feel is pleasure a twisted mind game of bdsm… crying in silence as the night fades away, to wake up and repeat my routine….

The imagery in this poem is very vivid and disturbing, especially the "flaming arrows" and "eyes hollow like a corpse." It effectively conveys the speaker's inner turmoil.
