Women Talking Relationships

Listening to women talking about relationships,
one becomes aware of their hard practicality.
Small cuts lightly made,
while virtue shining like ornate daggers.
Missiles flung and immediately forgotten.
And Men caught somewhere between idea and action,
trade doubt as certainty, never seeing the measuring ,
 the decisions made in-between their sleepy blinks.
Both sides rattle on,
generally oblivious to their combined loss,
their estrangement.
