Why should I feel sad ?

Thou hast betrayed my heart,
why should I  become gloomy?
It's thine desire to love me or not.

I couldn't realize before, today I discovered,
What we call love,
It's just a gambling of two modern hearts.

The considerations of all the promises ,
thou hast broken in an instant thou had once,
The point of sadness, thou hast brought me  and now abandoned me.

Upon the threshold of that point, I'll be a stranger and sleeping,
For all the melancholy, I will be isolated in later life.
Bless me every one with sorrows.

Thou hast right to love me or not ,
Thou hast broken my heart.
Why should I feel sad ?

About this poem

It is poem about modern love and its trends and side by side I focus on realistic experience seen in our morally down broken society. Love as metaphor for gambling and fruitless result on the part of lover. The poet lover provokes his emotions inthe lucid lines.
