These Days
These days,
dark brooding Mortis
flits around Nigeria
with a match,
angry and ravenous,
harvesting death
daily by the hundreds.
with Abika, his insatiable vulture,
perched on his shoulder
grunting and pleading
for more burnt human flesh
to feast upon.
