An Ode to Basil
In Grecian myth
Good fortune springs
From all Sweet Basil brings.
It grows and thrives
In pot or ground
Wherever Sun is found.
Its perfumed leaves
Will bring you cheer
Throughout its growing Year.
And freshly picked
From fragrant bunch,
It makes a great Spaghetti lunch!
