Lands of Milk and Honey

Fields of plenty
Weaved with gold
Corn is ripe
And standing bold
Woolly sheep
Within their pens
Happy clucking
Laying hens
Cattle feeding
Growing stout
Lakes that ripple
Full of trout
Buzzing bees
Are making honey
Storing nectar
Whilst it's sunny
In lands of plenty
Who would care
To give a little
Who whould share
Our world was made
From a fallen star
The might of heaven
Threw it far
So in its wisdom
What's the plot
Why some have much
And some have not.
