Moon

Dreamers dream and blindsight gums
like worms squirming towards moonbeams,
feeling for whole heart holding.

Intense moonbeams
you make a worm of me yet.

Ghosts screaming 'remember me? Remember me once?'
Pushing back the soundless plea for peace,
writhing in the rays of my spiritual serenity.

Where is this peace? Where is my peace here?
Moon holds all secrets, giving up none.

Church of my heart, God of my peace,
you make a worm of me yet.

Caroline Brown

I think I'm a storyteller. I'm often conflicted as to which medium to use, but with certain things poetry cannot be beaten. I am also a sculptor, and a scriptwriter. My poetry is an evolving medium so I really appreciate all of your feedback. Like most, I am learning and trying to home the craft everyday, whilst not forgetting to express myself in a unique and original way.Thank you! more…
