Waste

Poem

WASTE

                             K.R.BALAKRISHNAN

A bag full of waste on the street ,I threw
Knowing it so unlawful
Watched on the sly who might take it, for gold.

A bunch of bridal dress, someone might think
Some enchanting mystic spells, someone might think
A horrifying bombshell, some might think
Or a degenerated bundle of cloaks, or left over food.

Nobody took it, for fear or for hatred
As it is not suited for the decent lot
To pilfer someone's private self ;

The highway police even , did not care
The passers-by and trespassers did not heed
Perhaps it may explode on touch.

A grieving person was bold enough to touch it at last ;
He opened my bunch of poems
Posted somewhere in a portal!
