Analysis of Shackles of the Mind
Amidst the darkness of my endless strife, I'm haunted by a deep and crushing pain, My heart is heavy with the weight of life, And thoughts of regret wash over me again.
My struggles seem to have no end in sight, And every step I take is filled with doubt, I punish myself for every single slight, And in my mind, my failures shout.
I'm trapped within my own relentless mind, Where every misstep is a heavy blow, And the weight of my regret I cannot unwind, As I sink deeper into my own woe.
But still I strive to rise above this plight, And find a way to break free from this fight.
