When A Mockingbird Flies (rewrite)

When ever you see the eyes
And hear the cries of a bird’s shine
You feel amazed,
But how come you always feel dazed?
If you see a little light of a firefly,
You know when a mockingbird flies.

You know when it dies,
You know when it cries!
All these things happen, when a mockingbird flies.

You can deny what crows for help,
But what if everyone else crows?
Why don't you feel loved?
Cubs can die,
Cubs can cry,
All these things happen when a mockingbird flies.

When life is a cry,
It’s a part where you feel loved!
So how come you feel stuck?
How come you may ask
Well, these things happen when a mockingbird flies.

Here, there, and everywhere there are cries,
There are mothers singing lullabies,
There are so many things that’s going on around you!
Your whole world threating to crash into another dimension!
Why, you ask
Well, all these things happen when a mockingbird flies.

No one knows why
But, they feel like dying,
Tho no one knows for sure
When a mockingbird flies.

About this poem

I originally wrote this poem back in 2018, but I punished this on this site under my first account back in 2021 I believe! I was going through depression that I’ve suffered with for going on now 8 years. I’ve decided to do a rewrite based off my original poem. You can find the original just like any of the other three poems under my last profile: Dena Lombardo
