Constellation—One Star's Creation

I'd dance, I'd sing,
I'd bleed, I'd kneel;
In the name of you.

The stars shine a little less and fade a little more
Each promising dusk and every farewelling dawn.
Amid the weakened sparks, there shone—
one too bright, a delight, a rival to the moon;
A constellation, created by just one.
Days flew and nights remained
As I let myself ponder
The mystery of the one-starred sky
And shadows of the futile gleams of the rest of once stars.
Tangled in starlight, I discovered
The dazzling Glow of the lone star
Fainted the darkness and scarred the stars—
The lightened's light who inherently slashed and bled the light.
And I was enlightened,
The way you shine
Leaves no room for eyes to wander aimlessly at the sky
I watch only you, flown so high—the crown on the pine.
You soothe the nightmarish nights,
And the tenderness that boils in you
Is the flame that keeps our earth homely and temperate.

A wildflower you are
Independent as the sun
As strong as a bark
And as enchanting as a star.

About this poem

People we'll meet who have bore so much pain; yet their suffering did not turn them into a monster that kills whatever it touches. Instead, they turned sweeter than ever and the tragedy has let them grow. To me, that person is as bright as a star that can alone, shine the darkened night sky.
