Chlorophyll

Sprouting green upon the land

Nature's breath, life's golden hand

Chlorophyll, the emerald queen

Ruling over all things evergreen

Bathed in sunlight, she begins to stir

Awakening from her slumber, pure and pure

Tiny molecules, dancing in glee

As they absorb the sun's energy

From the depths of soil and sea

To the highest branches of every tree

Chlorophyll spreads her vibrant hues

A symphony of greens, her glorious muse

She is the lifeblood of the Earth

Sustaining all creatures, from birth to birth

For without her, all would cease to be

Her magic, the very essence of energy

Through her process of photosynthesis

She creates the air we breathe, her masterpiece

With every exhale, we thank her grace

For filling our lungs with life's sacred embrace

In the forests, she creates a canopy

A sanctuary for creatures, wild and free

Her leaves, a shelter from the scorching sun

A home for birds, where their songs are sung

In gardens, she paints a floral scene

Her blooms, a rainbow, so serene

With every petal, she whispers a tale

Of life, and love, and all that entails

From the tiniest blade of grass

To the tallest oak, she makes her pass

Her touch, a kiss of purest green

A reminder of nature's wondrous scene

But Chlorophyll's realm is not just green

For in the fall, her colors are seen

As she bids farewell, with a final show

A blaze of reds, yellows, and oranges aglow

And in winter, when all seems dead

She lies dormant, within each thread

Awaiting the return of the sun

To once again, her life-giving work begun

Chlorophyll, the giver of life

The mother of all, in beauty rife

With each passing day, she grows stronger

Her power, an eternal wonder

She reminds us to appreciate

The beauty of nature, before it's too late

For she is a symbol of hope and grace

A reminder that life will always find its place

So let us bow to Chlorophyll

The goddess of green, our world's true thrill

For without her, we would not exist

Our lives forever blessed, by her chlorophyll kiss.
