The Velcro Dog

King has a heart of gold,
Though he looks both strong and bold.
All he wants is just a treat
And to lick his daddy's feet.

He follows us around,
Sticking close like cement to the ground.
Though his bark may sound quite stern,
He’d never dream of harming a fern.

King loves to play in the sun,
Chasing shadows, oh what fun!
With a wagging tail and playful grin,
Every day feels like a win.

When the night begins to fall,
He snuggles up, the best of all.
With a sigh and gentle snore,
He dreams of adventures, always wanting more.

King just wants love, it’s clear to see,
And his heart will be smitten like a glove, you see.
With every cuddle, every glance,
He fills our lives with joy and chance.
