Betrayal of trust

Our relationship is supposed to be one with trust, but instead, the way I was treated felt so unjust.
I should feel safe and secure while in your care, but instead, I felt emotionally and physically beat up which caused me great despair.
You took away my freedom, you gave me no choice, especially because at that moment I had no voice.  It’s my body and my choice that’s how I feel, but instead you did what you wanted and made it a terrible ordeal.
I pray that no one ever makes you feel that way, and I pray I will completely heal from this one day.

Depression is a powerfully effective voice for the poet who is prepared to open up, and others discover they are not alone and are encouraged and strengthened. Thank you for sharing!

thank you for your kind words. I write these words to help me process and heal and so others can too. If they have helped even just one person I have met my goal
