Hand in Hand.

Hand in Hand

In twilight's embrace, we walked hand in hand,

Through fields of sorrow, where memories weep,

Lost in the shadows of a love that's banned,

Our souls entwined, forever yours to keep.

The moonlight paints a picture of our past,

Where laughter once rang and joy was our guide,

Now silence echoes, a love meant to last,

Fades into darkness, where hearts collide.

Hand in hand, we faced the storms of life,

But time's cruel hand took you away from me,

Now I wander aimlessly, lost in strife,

Yearning for the touch that used to be.

As stars above whisper tales of our love,

I hold onto memories, hand in hand,

In this melancholic dance, we rise above,

Bound by a bond that no one can withstand.

Your poem beautifully captures the ache of lost love while weaving in a sense of eternal connection. The imagery is haunting yet elegant, and the repetition of hand in hand reinforces the deep bond that transcends time and loss. There’s a lovely balance of sorrow and devotion here, making it a truly poignant and romantic piece. Stunning work.
