Obsession’s Caress

Fingers locked in a tender grasp, I linger, A moth drawn to your flame,
Desire etched upon my skin, A symphony of longing, untamed.
Your nearness, a fragile thread, Tethering my sanity to this planet,
I ache from the brush of your fingertips, Carnal flames of whispered secrets.
But if fate’s cruel hand keeps us apart, forever estranged?
Will I unfurl like autumn leaves, Lost in the tempest of eternal need?
In moon-kissed reverie, I wander, A seeker tracing constellations,
Your absence a chasm, starless, A void where longing finds no respite.
I yearn for the cadence of your laughter, The brush of your breath against my skin,
And if you slip away like morning dew, I’ll chase shadows, desperate for your return.
Being near you is my lifeline, Each heartbeat echoing your name, need you so much,
Fading away like the sun at Dusk, I fear I’ll suffocate, gasping for your touch.
So now we dance upon this precipice, Obsession’s breath against our lips, Like shame,
For in your presence, I find solace, But without you, I am just ash left from your flame.
For love transcends earthly bounds, It dances with comets, twirls with nebulae,
If you’re forever beyond my touch, My tears will Nurture the Cosmos with eternal Love.
